MOTHERS DAY IN ENGLAND:
Mothering Sunday, sometimes known as Mother's Day, is held on the fourth Sunday of Lent. It is exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday. Mother's Day 2018 falls on Sunday, March 11 in the UK this year. Many people take cards and gifts to her and may treat her to lunch or high tea in a cafe.
An important part of Mothering Sunday is giving cards and gifts. Our language assistant, Paul, have worked with our first graders about this celebration. They have created and decorated a card with flowers and a poem to mom.
